Almond Joy Oatmeal
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 T dried shredded unsweetened coconut
2 T slivered almonds
2 tsp dark chocolate chips
Pinch of salt
Cook oats in milk, stir in salt, then add your toppings. Stir in or leave as pictured!
Instead of chocolate chips I used 1 heaping T of cocoa powder.
Instead of slivered almonds I chopped up whole raw almonds.
Chopped up dried young coconut instead of shredded coconut.
Left out the salt (by accident but it turned out good nonetheless).
SUPER DELISH. The only sugar comes from the chocolate chips if you use those, or in my case the dried young coconut is much sweeter than shredded coconut so that is where my sweetness came from.
